The Last Post of the Term: General Evaluation

  We've reached the end of another term. I hope you found the content enjoyable and instructive. Let's evaluate the course together. What are the strengths and weakness of the course?    This course effectively integrates technology and innovative methods into English education, making it essential for prospective teachers to create relevant course content. However, technological limitations or a lack of skills in utilizing these tools may occur in some environments. These issues could be addressed with solutions in the course. What did I find easy or difficult about the course?    Since we create lesson plans for most classes, this one wasn't difficult. However, designing materials with varied content was tiring. It was also important to use time efficiently in order to manage other courses at the same time. Overall, it was enjoyable, and collaboration made it easier. Improving Writing Skills with AI Integrated Teaching Material

  We created a teaching material that utilized AI's writing assistance to explore festivals across the globe. For us, this was both a fun and beneficial experience. Unit 6 of the MEB coursebook's intercultural topics  provide the basis for the content, which is intended for EFL high school prep students.    We included AI (ChatGPT) technology into the writing process to make the course more interesting. Students will write well-structured paragraphs about the festivals they selected and the related weather conditions. Additionally, they will review and enhance their work with ChatGPT's guided feedback before presenting their paragraphs to the class.   Students reinforced their learning in the last step by reflecting on the entire process. Our ASSURE-based lesson plan successfully matched objectives with the needs of the students. This experiment showed how AI supports writing activities to improve the learning process.
